The Asymmetric team, creators of Kingdom of Loathing, had a booth at the 2006 San Diego Comic Con. To attract potential new players for the game, they put together a small booklet comprising a choose‐your‐own‐adventure game, with the same style and humour as the online game, and gave it away at the con.
Meanwhile, on the Kingdom of Loathing forums, Xenophobe made a post indicating that he wouldn’t mind if the booklet was available online somewhere for the people who didn’t/couldn’t go to Comic Con to see. TheDarkHaze scanned in the entire booklet, and I (Phlip) took the scans and typed them up in HTML format for this site.
